This is the first winter school of the EIT Raw Materials education project “Sustainable Management of Critical Raw Materials”, SusCritMat, The project is coordinated by FEMS Associated Member ESM Foundation. In a novel educational concept, the winter school will offer modules on complex and interdisciplinary topics related to critical raw materials, developed and taught by European experts in the field.
What began in 1997 as an initiative of the Bond voor Materialenkennis for the Dutch materials science community, has since blossomed into an invigorating international event about innovations in materials.
On December 12th 2017 "Meeting Materials" expects over 300 participants, representatives from SME’s to renowned industrial manufacturing companies, and from international universities and research institutes.
